QUALIFIED FIRST AID

These courses are designed for people working or cooperating with the units of the National System of Emergency Medicine, eg. Fire Brigade, Police, Mountain and Water Rescue Organizations.

The courses are carried out under the Law on Emergency Medical Services.
Terms and program of the course are defined in the Regulation of the Minister of Health of March 19, 2007. The aim of the course is to prepare participants to perform the tasks in a rescue operation, in particular to provide assistance to people in a state of sudden danger to life or health.

Qualified first aid course

After completing the training and passing the examination, the participant receives the title and powers of a “LIFEGUARD”. The certificate is valid for three years, after this time you must re-sit the exam. We offer a recertification course of qualified first aid to refresh your memory.
Participants are trained in the use of a high-quality emergency medical equipment.
Forms of work: lectures, demonstrations, exercises, exam

The course provide:
– training materials
– personal rescue bag (gloves, mouthpiece for artificial respiration)
– the examination and appropriate certificate

Training program:

• Medical emergency organization – the legal basis
• The safety of the rescuer, the victim and the scene of accident
• Emergency kits, disinfection of equipment
• Elements of anatomy and physiology, assessment of the victim, preliminary and detailed examination
• The unconscious victim
• CPR (adult, child, infant, newborn, special situations)
• Automated defibrillator – the rules using a semi-automatic and automatic defibrillation
• Shock
• Other sudden conditions – convulsion, diabetes, myocardial infarction, cerebral stroke, poisoning, drowning
• Mechanical damage and injuries – fractures, sprains, bleedings, damage to the chest, abdomen, spine, head and limbs
• Injuries: chemical, thermal, electrical, and environmental hazards
• Rescue operations tactics – mass and multiple events, preliminary segregation, card of the aid, logistics
• Evacuation of the danger zone
• Providing qualified first aid in simulated situations

 

Course time: 66 hours (24 theoretical hours and 42 practical hours)

Recertification course of qualified first aid

The aim of the course is to refresh the knowledge of qualified first aid and preparing for the exam.
The program is similar to the program of a qualified first aid course. It is more focused on practical exercises, the theoretical part of the course is shortened.
Course time: 16 hours
Place: we train across the country
Price: depends on the number of people
Number of participants: the optimal size of a group is 5 -12 people

Qualified first aid course for people not connected with units of the National System of Emergency Medicine.

The course is intended for everyone who wants to acquire knowledge and skills in first aid beyond the scope of standard courses.
A participant receives a certificate of completion of the course at the end, in accordance with the program of qualified first aid, without the possibility of obtaining the title of a “Lifeguard”.
We suggest participating in an informal examination to test your knowledge.
Scope of the program is similar to the program of a qualified first aid course.
